Opportunity to inspire pupils from Lanark Grammar School

Careers Convention - Lanark Grammar School, Thursday 12th November 2026, 6-8pm.

As part of the support offered to senior pupils at Lanark Grammar School, the school is holding a careers convention to allow both pupils and parents/carers to speak with a vast range of colleges, universities and employers to encourage pupils to think deeply about their career path after school. This opportunity will open a door for a number of pupils who may be uncertain around what they would like to do post school and will allow us as a community to better support these pupils into suitable opportunities to best prepare them for the world of work.

Businesses and oganisations are invited to join the event and set up a “stall” for pupils/parents to visit and ask questions about the types of careers available within their field of work. The school can provide a small table to display resources such as leaflets/business cards and there will be refreshments on the evening organised by the S6 Leadership Team.To get involved. please email gw16halfordiona@glow.sch.uk or phone Iona on 01555 667520.
